The season is almost over: Good luck Kirby, Sara, and Stephanie at the State Meet!
We had a great season with some great performances and great attitudes. Coach Bailey and I feel that this has been the team that most behaved like a Team.
Congratulations to our new captains, Nathan, Hayden, Sara, and Shayma. Your jobs start today (technically yesterday). We are looking forward to working with you.
And thank you to our current captains, Brittney, Sara, Jason, and Andrew. We will still need your help over the rest of the school year.
Thanks for a great season!

Great Job
Good job, team. For the most part, you all put forth a great effort. We even had some all time PRs today. That really is amazing on a course which is not the fastest course.
We will meet on Monday at the tree to turn in uniforms, vote for captains, and talk more about Running Club.
Congratulations Kirby, Sara and Stephanie! On to state!

Tomorrow Is the Day!
Good luck to everyone tomorrow! If you are reading this tonight, please go to bed and get some sleep. You will need your rest to run your best.
If you are reading this in the morning, I will see you at the race at 10:45.

Who is that?
Is that really Coach Sparks running a 5k on the track? Who is that? Offering one candy bar for whoever knows who that is.

A Slow Start
Thank you all for the wonderful comments! We are off to a slow start, but it is still cross country season.
Keep checking this space (or better yet, subscribe to it) because we will be announcing the times and dates of our first post cross country season running rendezvous. That will most likely be the the week of November 10.
We are looking forward to seeing all of you who aren't participating in a winter sport. We have some special events planned (or at least discussed). And are excited to continue running with you (given that we aren't still injured -cross your fingers).
Please leave comments, concerns, ideas, whatever you want to say.
Go Viks!
